Worcestershire is a beautiful place. Although part of it borders the urban west midlands, most of Worcestershire is deeply rural, with rolling green  hills; ancient villages with a wealth of timbered buildings separated by green countryside. here are the eccentric, unique, upthrusting majesty of the Malvern Hills, and the sylvan river valleys of the Severn and Teme. Equally unique is Stourport-on-Severn where I live, full of Georgian charm and owing its existence to the advent of the canals.
